Find Your Next Clear Yes
A one-hour session to take the filter further, on
the one decision that matters most right now
I built the three-question filter because I needed it myself.
Years ago, before any of this was a business, I was the person saying yes to everything. New project, new committee, new "quick favor," it didn't matter. I said yes because saying yes felt like the responsible thing to do, and because some part of me believed that if I just worked hard enough, everything would eventually fit.
It didn't fit. It never does. What changed things for me wasn't a bigger calendar or a better app. It was learning to ask a few honest questions before I said yes to anything else, and then actually listening to the answers.
That's where "A Few Clear Yeses" came from. It's the filter I use myself, and it's the same one I now walk clients through, leaders running nonprofits and small businesses who are good at their work and quietly buried in it.
You've read the guide. You know the filter. So why does the hardest decision still feel stuck?
Here's what I hear most often from leaders who've worked through the three questions on their own. The framework makes sense. It's the specific situation that's tangled.
Maybe it's a board relationship you can't quite name what's wrong with. Maybe it's a founder who won't step back, or a new offer you can't decide whether to pursue, or a calendar so full you can't even find the hour to think about which yes to reconsider first.
The filter gives you the questions. It doesn't always give you the courage, or the outside perspective, to sit with your specific answers. That's the part that's hard to do alone, especially when you can't talk candidly with your board, your team, or the people closest to the decision.
You don't need a bigger plan. You need one clear hour.
Most leaders think the next step is a strategic overhaul, a retreat, a rebrand, a five-year plan. It's not. The leaders who get unstuck fastest are the ones who stop trying to solve everything and instead sit down with one specific challenge for one focused hour.
That's the entire idea behind the Spotlight Session. Not a framework to implement alone. Not another guide to read later. One hour, one real conversation, and a clear next step you leave with in hand.
What's possible after one hour
Clients leave Spotlight Sessions with more than relief, though that shows up too. They leave with a specific answer to the specific thing that's been circling in their head, and a one-page plan for what to do about it.
One client came in circling a fundraising problem she'd been stuck on for months. After a single session, she had a clear strategy and the confidence to move on it, and went on to secure a five-year capacity-building grant.
That's what one focused hour, spent on the right thing, can do.
How it Works
Land on your one thing.
We start with whatever is loudest in your head right now, the decision, the plan, the situation you keep circling. No prep required. You don't need to arrive organized. That's what the session is for.
Work it through, together.
We use my best techniques to get underneath the surface question and find what's actually true about your capacity, your priorities, and what you'd be setting down to move forward. This is the part you can't fully do alone, an outside perspective without an agenda.
Leave with your plan.
You'll get a one-page Core Action Plan after our call, with the few, most impactful steps to take. Not a forty-page report. Just what you need to move.
What You Get
One hour, virtual, focused entirely on your top challenge right now
My full attention and best techniques for cutting through complexity quickly
A one-page Core Action Plan you can act on immediately after we hang up
The clarity of finally naming the thing you've been circling, out loud, with someone who isn't inside your organization or your head
Why this is different
Generic business coaches are often too broad, and it shows. You end up explaining your world before you can even get to your problem.
Large consulting firms are slow, expensive, and impersonal, built for organizations with budgets and timelines yours doesn't have.
Books and podcasts are useful, but they can't ask you a follow-up question or push back when your reasoning has a hole in it.
Melissa brings corporate, B2B, and nonprofit experience in one person, rare at any price point, and every session is built around one goal: a specific answer to your specific challenge, not a generic framework you have to adapt yourself.
One hour. One challenge. One Core Action Plan.
Priced to reflect the depth of a focused hour built entirely around your specific challenge, and still far less than the cost of staying stuck.

One focused hour now saves dozens of scattered hours later. If you're too busy to book an hour, that's usually the clearest sign you need it.

You don't need to be organized. That's exactly what the session is for. Come as you are, and we'll create the clarity together.

This isn't therapeutic coaching. It's strategic. You leave with a concrete plan, not just a good conversation.
